Underlay:
Every new carpet deserves a new underlay as this provides the basis to a good finish and comfort under your feet. A good underlay also helps to extends the life of the carpet and its good appearance. There are many underlays but we tend to prefer the PU (polyurethane) as they are light and fluffy as well as a long life solution. See our selection of underlays and its description will guide you to your choice.

Underlays are available for carpet and laminate.

Carpet Gripper:
These are used to fix and hold carpet to the floor. The gripper selection depends on the sub floor as for concrete floors use concrete gripper and for wood base floor use wood gripper.
Each length is approximately 1.5m. Our gripper bundle is designed for an average room size of 4m by 4m and usually 12 grippers are enough. For stairs and landing or larger rooms, we recommend our large bundle which contains 20 lengths.

Door Bars:
These are available in two colours silver look or gold look. They are used at the edge of the carpet and have different designs. Carpet to carpet (double), single which are at the end of the carpet, flat (cover) and Z bar which connect carpet on one side and sit on a tile or laminate
on the other side.
Two lengths are available door size 0.9 m ( approx 36 inches) or long 2.7 m (approx 9 feet).

Laminate Trim or Beading:
These are available in lengths of 2.4m (approx 8 feet) and we can supply nearest matching beading trims for our range of laminates. When ordering beading trims we will send you the nearest matching colour. However, some people prefer to use white trims to match their white skirting boards.
