ROOMS:
When measuring rooms please remember to measure the longest and widest part of the room and then add a few centimetres to allow for margin of error and any kinks in the room. Also remember at the door side the carpet will go beyond the skirting board so allow for this measurement.

HALL/STAIRS/LANDING
Measue the longest and widest part of hall and landings. The normal stairs are measured wide and drop is measured with tread and riser together and then count. The kites and triangle steps are measured widest point and longest part of the tread plus drop/riser.
