We supply a wide range of carpets. These include twist pile, cut pile saxony and loop pile. Each has its own characteristics and feel. The new fashion has been the soft silky touch carpets which are plush, shiny and luxurious to feel and walk on. The longer the pile the more luxury they offer but over long time you will see a pile flattening in areas of heavy traffic such as stairs, passage way or entrance to rooms. The twist and loop pile keep their look longer as they are not prone to flattening.
The carpets are action/hessian back or have a felt backing. The latter is designed to act as a basic underlay layer where as the former will need underlay.
Also the quality of carpet is classified as general or heavy domestic and this will determine its longevity.
